Chief Olu Lawanson

Who is Chief Olu Lawanson

He was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a civil engineer and an astute business man and philanthropist. He is from Obele Kolade, Lawanson in surulere Lagos and belonged to the Lawanson Aborishade ruling house. He was one of the first settlers in Agboyi-Ketu and he did a lot of philanthropic work in the area. He donated the lands where the Saint Michael Catholic Church at Oshogun Alapere and the All saints Anglican church at Biola Alapere are located, he also owned a lot of businesses in the area which contributed immensely to employment of youth in the area. This foundation was founded to continue the good works of Chief Anthony Olujinmi Lawanson
